Swedish inspired canapes

This is such a simple recipe. Its refreshing and perfect as a pre drink bite. The best part is that you can make it vegetarian too. Infact, the above photo of the canapae was made vegetarian.

Ingredients
1,5 dl sour creme or creme fraiche - ideally a mix of both
1 dl fish roe or seaweed caviar (can be bought at Ikea, its a faux fish roe made of seaweed perfect vegetarian replacement for the fish roe)
salt & pepper
chives
half a handful of fresh dill
squeeze of lemon juice

  1. Chop the chives & dill
  2. mix all the ingredients in a bowl, taste. 
  3. Add more seasoning or lemon juice if needed. 
Enjoy with a glass of cold white wine, champagne or a gin & tonic with lots of lime in it.
